Tracy Francis is a senior partner with McKinsey who partners with clients from idea to impact. She also serves as the managing partner for Latin America, focusing on accelerating sustainable and inclusive growth in the region and enhancing Latin America's global profile.
Tracy has over two decades of business leadership experience across consumer, retail, and healthcare industries in the Americas. She helps leading companies take a holistic view of shifts in market dynamics to find new sources of growth, scale digital transformations, and accelerate performance.
Tracy has held a number of leadership roles in the firm, including leading our global marketing, communications, publishing and reputation at McKinsey (Reach and Engagement), serving as a member of our Shareholders Council (Board), leading the Consumer Practice in Latin America, and founding and leading the Healthcare Practice in Latin America.
A frequent public speaker at global events, including the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting and B20, she advances discussions on topics vital to the health of businesses, societies, and people. Tracy has coauthored authoritative and industry-shaping research on what it will take to accelerate sustainable and inclusive growth, how consumer-packaged goods and retail companies can navigate economic volatility, as well as the characteristics of Gen Z.
Tracy is also the Chair of the Board of Maria Cecilia Souto Vidigal Foundation, which focuses on early childhood development, member of the Advisory Council at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a Board Member at Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand.
A native Australian and mother of three, Tracy first joined McKinsey in 1997 in Sydney. She spent four years in the United States before moving to São Paulo in 2004. She is fluent in English and Portuguese.
